+The Network, Distributed Systems, and Security Lab is a research group from the Graduate Program in Computer Science ([[http://www.prppg.ufpr.br/ppginformatica/?lang=en|PPGInf]]) of the Federal University of Paraná State ([[http://www.ufpr.br|UFPR]]), in Curitiba, southern Brazil.

+LaRSiS offers a computing infrastructure that allows students to run and evaluate their research projects, like [[https://www.planet-lab.org|PlanetLab]], and local computing resources. The group's projects are funded by public agencies like [[http://www.cnpq.br|CNPq]] and [[http://www.fappr.pr.gov.br/|Fundação Araucária]], and also institutions having interest in research, like [[http://www.rnp.br|RNP]] (Brazilian National Research and Educational Network). Such fundings provide scholarships for students participating in the group activities, and also help to improve the available infrastructure.
